The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Youth Mental Health First Aid (RQF) is for those over the age of 16, who have an interest in youth mental health first aid and would like to raise their awareness of mental health in young people and be able to actively listen and guide/support. This qualification is ideal for those who have contact with young people such as parents, teachers and youth workers.
Throughout this 1-day course, learners will raise their awareness of the main characteristics and features of common mental health conditions in young people, whilst being able to actively listen and guide individuals toward reliable sources of support.
