If you are looking to embark on a career as a therapist specialising in facial treatments, our VTCT Level 2 Award in Facial Massage & Skincare (500/8884/1) is designed to equip you with the knowledge, practical skills and industry-required qualification to be able do this with confidence. Students will need access to a pc to complete coursework and online exams.

This Level 2 course focus’ specifically on facial and skincare, it does not include other areas such as makeup, nails and waxing. This level 2 course is specifically designed for those wanting a career in advanced skin treatments.

Once you have completed your Level 2 Facial and Skincare course it enables you to enrol ontoLevel 3 Facial Electotherapy course for more advanced facial treatments.

Who Is This Course Suitable For?

Beginners who wish to enter the beauty industry. No experience is necessary. A good standard of English is necessary.

Course Content

You will cover:

Provide facial skincare
Steam Extractions
Skin Types and Conditions
Face Massage
Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
Follow health and safety practice in the salon

You will have 1 assignment and exams. There is full guidance on these.
You will be given access to our online portal to view tutorials in preparation for the practical dates

Course Duration & Cost

You will be required to do home study of treatment theory as well as 3 assignments before you attend the practical training. This will allow more time to work on models and get hands on experience.

Day 1 –Exams and Demonstration

Day 2 – Recap | revision | discuss assignments
