About Doncaster Council
The Doncaster Social Care Academy has been set up to recruit people to various paid roles across the adult social care sector in response to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. The academy works by matching the skills and experience of candidates with the jobs available to get people quickly into roles. The roles on offer are varied and include jobs in residential, nursing and supported living care settings as well as roles providing care and support to people in their own homes. There are currently a variety of permanent, temporary, full-time and part-time positions available ranging from care assistants and support workers to home care workers and shared lives carers. The jobs available do vary and can also include cooks and catering assistants, cleaners and office/administration assistants. People are matched to roles that suit their skills and interests through a discussion on the phone. Where necessary, full training is given (predominantly online at the moment) and support is provided throughout. If you are interested in this type of work and would like to find out more please get in touch.
