🔍 Sherlock Holmes: Detective Workshop (3 lessons for 12-14 year olds)

Description

Step into the world of Victorian London and become a detective! In this collaborative mystery workshop, students will work together to solve a complex case inspired by Sherlock Holmes. Using clues from newspapers, witness interviews, maps, and directories, the group must decide where to investigate, analyse evidence, and build their own theory of the crime. Careful reading, logical thinking, and teamwork will all be needed to uncover the truth. Can your team solve the case — and even outperform Sherlock Holmes himself?

This workshop encourages collaboration, discussion, and critical thinking in a fun and immersive detective investigation.

Note: Students should be willing to participate actively in discussion and work closely with their fellow detectives, as the investigation is entirely collaborative rather than a solo activity. Please note that the mystery cases involve fictional crimes and references to murder and death, which may not be suitable for all students.

Ages 12-14

29th, 30th of June & 1st of July at 10am UK each day. 6 students maximum.
