Group lessons and courses are booked and paid for in blocks and refunds will not be given if the student is unable to attend one of the lessons. If the student cannot attend a group lesson, lesson materials can be requested and completed in their own time. Teachers also offer a recording of the lesson which will be sent via email.
If a tutor is obliged to cancel a group lesson or course, it may be the case that another tutor from the Creative Writing with Hannah team will provide appropriate cover for the students. If there is no cover available, the parent will have one lesson credited towards the next block, or can choose to receive a full refund for that session.
For safeguarding reasons, it is expected that an adult will remain in the house with children for the duration of their online lesson. Students must not be left alone in the house with the tutor on call.
Students must be fully dressed during all lessons.
Group lessons may be recorded and shared with any students who were unable to attend the lesson. Recordings are shared via password and link to the secure Zoom ‘cloud’, are only sent to children who were absent and are deleted after 7 days.
