🦸 Comics for Girls! (4 lessons for 9-12 year olds)

Description

This course aims to increase girls' self-esteem, confidence and resilience, at the same time as learning to craft a plot, develop characters, write dialogue and illustrate their own comic strip.

I have taught this course several times before and there is a lovely social element too!

During the course, we will learn:

- What comics look like, how they are laid out, what kind of characters are in them

- How to draw and write comic strips, including comic book style characters

- About female comic book characters in the past and present

- About female comic book writers and illustrators

- How to feel more confident and resilient

- How to feel happier, worry less and love yourself more!

9-12 year olds

6 students maximum

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am UK
