Transform the inner metal from a car wheel, washing machine, tumble drier or even an old gas canister into a completely unique fire pit or barbecue. Your experience host will first show you how to safely work with a variety of hand and power tools, including angle grinders, which you’ll use to make your garden creation. Scott will guide you through the process of creating your upcycled piece, sharing his many years of experience upcycling from all sorts of recycled materials. At the end of the day you'll leave with your own custom fire pit or barbecue, along with the skills to make more upcycled metal creations at home. Facilities Toilets WiFi Refreshments available Parking COVID-19 guidelines Everyone will need to confirm fitness each day. Everyone will have their temperature taken at the beginning of each day. Hand washing will be compulsory at set times during the courses. Face masks will be compulsory during the specific parts of the course where you will be breathing heavily due to exertion. The remainder of the course we will have face shields available as an option to facemasks. Face shields will be provided. But please bring your own face mask. On the day You don't need any previous woodwork experience, just some enthusiasm! Please wear old clothes (or something that you don’t mind getting damaged or torn) and sensible, closed toe footwear. Work boots are recommended. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day, but please bring along your own packed lunch. Course Location courses can be either in Glastonbury or at Scott's own workshop near the Bath and West show grounds (BA46QN) and will be confirmed.

Upcycle with pallets course

What you'll do Have you ever wanted to create your own unique furniture? During this one day experience you’ll transform a pallet into a one-off piece of furniture for your home. First you'll find out how to source materials and discover the tools and techniques you’ll need to prepare your pallets for upcycling. Once Scott has introduced you to the workshop space, you’ll use a mix of hand and power tools to create your own piece, from a shoe or wine rack to a bird feeder, storage box or even a small bookcase. With your experience host's guidance, you'll leave with your own finished upcycled item. All materials, tools and safety equipment will be provided for you on the day. What you will learn: Sarah will be sharing her skills of upcycling with you on this workshop and helping you transform a drab piece into something creative and desirable, having fun along the way in this relaxed workshop for any level! The perfect Mother's Day gift! The workshop covers painting and decoupage and we teach a further creative technique of "how to make your piece yours" and alternative inspiration and techniques will be discussed throughout the two days. A picture of your chosen piece and wallpaper will need to be emailed to us latest 5 days before the start of the workshop. You will need to bring: - A small chosen piece of furniture. - Wallpaper or a poster to decoupage with. - Please Bring your own mask ( one spare). What you'll do Design and build your own one-off clock from recycled and scrap materials, with the help of upcycling experts, Black Paw. In this experience you can choose to make anything from a wall or table clock to a Grandfather or Grandmother clock. You’ll each be given a quartz battery powered clock unit and from there you can get creative with your design and the materials you use. Your hosts, Scott and Sue, will guide you through everything you need to know, from the tools you’ll use to how to prep recycled material. For your clock design you’ll have free reign to be creative with your ideas. The style you choose can be inspired by anything and can be finished in colour or natural wood. This is a perfect chance to create a unique piece for your home or make a personal, one-off gift. Everyone is welcome and you’ll not only go away with your finished clock, but the practical skills to continue upcycling. Westfield London Sunday 19th May 12pm See link below to book!  Childrens Pen Tie Dye T-shirt Upcycling – Good Fest (westfield.com) Workshop Description & Dates Tiptree, Essex Come along to this new family based workshop, adding colour and individuality to a used piece of clothing creating a non- messy Tie Dye effect!  This Workshop is to encourage younger people to get reuse creative on maybe a favourite piece of clothing like a cotton T'shirt, hoody or hat even a plain pillow case or duvet! Instead of throwing out a faded old T'shirt why not bring it back to life and personalise it using dyes, embellishment and a scissor upcycle by a no sew transformation!  This is a 2 hour workshop is suitable for the whole family, kids 7 years old and upwards must be accompanied by an adult.  T'shirts are included if needed! How To Paint & Upholster Furniture Course Workshop Description  You have asked us if you can come along to ReVamp Boutique and transform a chair using paint and reupholster its drop in seat ( or very similar) with fabric. So yes! You now can! You will be using traditional upholstering techniques on your chair. painting your chair using colours from Sophie James Décor which are included in the workshop and can be selected on the day as we stock their whole range. All tools, paint and other upholstery materials will be available and provided as part of the course. Although you will be working on your own piece throughout the day, alternative inspiration and techniques will be discussed. A fun, relaxed workshop for any level!  You will have a transformed piece to take home with you.
