An idea to change students perspective towards Mathematics and make a difference to the society. After realizing how important it is to make this change in students, at an early age, our founder Kazi Ahmed decided to put all his experience, teaching and energy in creating a platform for students to realize their full potential in Mathematics. The Way We See It We believe that the world changes, if we change the way we look at the world. Our goal is to show and guide our students in changing their perspective towards life, setting Mathematics as an example. We focus on different students in different ways to bring out the best in them. Our Journey Our founder Kazi Ahmed graduated from York University receiving a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. He started working at different private schools as a Math teacher and on the side, provided home tutoring services. Soon, he realized the joy and fulfillment in giving back and making a difference to the young students. So now he started his journey in giving back to the society by providing online tutoring services full-time and wishes to create a platform for everyone to unlock their full potential.

FloorSkills Training Centre is run under the personal supervision from two of the country’s leading trainers Sid and Matt Bourne, who have between them won British champion installer and represented the UK in the European championships. FloorSkills only uses trainers who are proven in the trade, we have a select team of instructors and the help of numerous reputable manufacturers. FloorSkills also work in partnership with the BWFA who FloorSkills provides the training towards the BWFA apprenticeship program on their behalf. The main aims of our training courses are to educate fitters while on courses and to enable access to ongoing training. FloorSkills has undergone a rigorous approval process where the contents of its courses and the processes it uses in association with them have been thoroughly checked and approved by leading Manufacturers. Fi grew up in London and throughout her childhood was always either making things, drawing or painting. She did her foundation course in London and then chose to leave the city and take her degree in Fine art Painting in the beautiful city of Bath. After spending a couple of years, based in a studio group in Bristol, making her own work, she decided to move back to London and shortly thereafter she did a PGCE and began her teaching career. After having her son, and due to work commitments, Fi and her family moved to Worcester and this is where she began honing her skills as a jeweller. She is now a jewellery designer and painter, offering unique, handmade jewellery pieces which are mostly made in silver, incorporating semi precious stones and accents of gold. Jewellery commissions are regularly undertaken and include recycling of old jewellery pieces to make new. Her jewellery is inspired by the style of ancient and archaeological pieces and natural forms and aspire to having a very handmade, and 'just dug up' look. Most of the work has been hand forged but more recently Fi has employed the lost wax casting process and now also runs workshops. Vibrant colour plays a large part in both her painting, prints and jewellery. Having trained in Fine Art, she uses the studio to paint in and undertakes portrait commissions. Having a portrait painted of a loved one can be an excellent way to mark a special birthday or occasion. As with possible jewellery commissions she would be more than happy to discuss requirements and options. There are a selection of workshops which can be booked in her studio, based on jewellery making and painting. Workshops can be a fantastic way to learn a new skill or done as a group can be a wonderful experience.

I have had an interest in Art for most of my adult life and having never studied it at school I was nervous of taking up any classes so late in life. However, by chance whilst trying to find local art classes I happened to stumble upon Back Room Art and I sent an enquiring email. From the very first communication Heather put me immediately at ease and gave me the confidence to go to my first class. I joined a wonderful group of people. Heather works well to ensure we are all included in the lessons, working at our own pace and with projects and materials we feel comfortable to use. Heather’s inspiration, openness and motivation have given me a confidence in doing something I never felt capable of doing. Our works are encouraged and praised and Heather’s communication with everyone is brilliant to ensure we all get something out of it. She listens carefully to our aspirations and helps us to achieve them with advice, suggestions and with realistic goals. The facilities we work in are relaxed, friendly and well stocked with all the artistic materials you could wish for, giving me a chance to use resources I would not generally have tried out at home on my own. Coming to this class has given me so much more than just the opportunity to create art; it has opened my eyes to art I would not normally have looked for, expanding my horizons and opportunities. It is the one thing on a Monday that I do look forward to."
