Hello! I am Samantha Dholakia, the founder of SPD Tuition and Coaching and creator of The Behaviour Balance System© (TBBS) and The Behaviour Bank© (TBB). I am an Executive Coach and mentor, Neurolinguistic Programmer and Consultant Trainer. With over 15 years experience in the education sector, I have worked in multiple managerial and leadership roles, including deputy head, RMT consultant trainer, educational consultant and accredited CPD creation for companies such as Twinkle and TTS. I am the host of @spdtuitionandcoaching which supports thousands of parents and teachers daily with behaviour strategies and wellbeing support, and in 2020 I set up our SPD children’s Confidence and Communications Coaching Programme, of which I could not be prouder. Not only have we had great results in the social, emotional and behaviour impact, but also academic achievement. Some of the children in our programmes make over 1 year’s academic progress in less than 12 weeks. It was in fact the children that encouraged me to support with the adults around them, and I am so pleased that I listened to their wise words. The Behaviour Balance System I created TBBS in 2021 to support the desperate need for an alternative approach to behaviour, providing strategies that not only create sustainable change but aid wellbeing, support good mental health, build confidence and resilience - and also accelerates academic achievement. With every technique and tool backed by the neuroscience behind behaviour, our TBBS strategies not only make sense, they WORK. We now support schools, nurseries, universities, Local Authorities, charities and a whole host of other providers globally through our training, workshops and 360 online portal, TBB. Underpinned by three elements, physiology, belief and communication, TBBS is an alternative approach to traditional behaviour systems. CLOD ENSEMBLE create provocative, finely crafted performance and participation projects driven by movement and music. For over 25 years, director Suzy Willson and composer Paul Clark have developed a highly original performance language, in collaboration with dancers, actors, musicians, medics, architects and orchestras. Our core team work from our studios in the Design District on Greenwich Peninsula, and we work with a wide range of freelance artists on each project. Each production has a unique visual identity and distinctive musical score. Highlights include Silver Swan, featuring a choir of seven unaccompanied singers; Under Glass, where performers are contained within glass cases, from a jam jar to a test tube; An Anatomie in Four Quarters in which the audience cut a path through the auditorium of a large theatre and Red Ladies, a chorus of identically dressed women who transform, celebrate and interrupt the familiar streets of a city. Our work is presented in London, across the UK and internationally in theatres, dance houses, galleries and public spaces including Sadler’s Wells, Tate Modern, The Lowry, Wales Millennium Centre, Serralves Museum Porto and Public Theater New York. Our approach to performance making embraces difference and ambiguity, allowing us to work with complex ideas in complex systems. Each of our projects upholds movement, music and visual languages as vital ways of knowing, learning, and communicating. Sian has been responsible for Toynbee Hall’s local and national financial inclusion programmes since October 2009, including Transact (the UK’s national forum for financial inclusion), financial inclusion training, research, evaluation and strategic consultancy. Sian takes a whole systems approach to financial well-being, supporting organisations to develop policies and practice which make it easier for people to make the most of their money. She has co-led the Financially Inclusive Tower Hamlets programme, which adopts this environmental approach within one of the UK’s most deprived communities. Sian’s team have also created a ground-breaking needs and impact digital measurement tool for financial health, the MAP Tool, to fill the gaps around knowing “what works” in financial health interventions. Sian provides advice on financial inclusion to financial services providers, and is a member of advisory groups for the Payments Council, the LINK Scheme, the BBA, DWP, HMT and the Big Lottery. Over the last 15 years working in the family justice sector, I have seen how amazing senior leads come under intense scrutiny when they are working alongside children’s social care. As a child protection lawyer, and latterly a trainer, I work to empower professionals so you spend less time worrying about that Child Protection Conference or Strategy Meeting. Over the last 15 years working in the family justice sector, I have seen how amazing senior leads come under intense scrutiny when they are working alongside children’s social care. As a child protection lawyer, and latterly a trainer, I work to empower professionals so you spend less time worrying about that Child Protection Conference or Strategy Meeting. I founded the Safeguarding Association after working with so many professionals who were amazing at what they did but felt unsure about their role within the various child protection procedures and court processes. Their lack of knowledge was impacting their confidence when giving their opinions in meetings or at court. After working with lots of senior safeguarding leads like you, I realised that what they all needed was the same thing – understanding how to navigate the maze which is the child protection process and court system. The maze of processes is talked about in all safeguarding training. But knowing about it and working effectively within it are very different issues. I love sharing my experience and knowledge and there’s nothing more satisfying than knowing I have been able to remove some of that mystery so as to allow you to feel confident and empowered to fully protect those young people you work with. You should feel confident in your internal safeguarding processes, and how the systems works so you can be secure in your handling of complex child protection cases. We all need some downtime, when I’m not working, I spend mine with my husband and our golden retriever, Sam.

In a world of constantly changing legislation and standards, BCAS plays a crucial role in driving progress in the compressed air industry. Founded in 1930, the British Compressed Air Society is the only UK technical trade association open to manufacturers, distributors and end users of compressors, vacuum pumps, pneumatic tools and allied products. Our role is to provide unbiased advice on legislation, technical standards, education, compliance, safety and environmental matters that affect suppliers and users of compressed air and vacuum systems. BCAS Structure There are tiers of activity within BCAS: BCAS Board Permanent Committees The board is made up of the President, Vice President, Last Past President and Executive Director plus elected and co-opted seats. Each group member has a permanent place on the board. There are 5 board seats elected by the membership and the remainder are co-opted for skills required within BCAS. Elected & Co-opted board members stand down at the first change of president but may be re-elected/re-co-opted to serve on the board. BCAS also has sector committees, special committees and working groups, which are set up from time to time to address specific issues. The chair of the committee is selected by ballot of the sector committee. The current committees are: Compressor Committee Low Pressure & Vacuum Committee Air Treatment & Applications Committee Distribution Committee Training & Development Committee Statistics Committee In addition, BCAS plays a crucial role in upholding standards and advising its members about changing legislation and standards to ensure compliance and safety within the industry. It is also an active member of Euris to lobby on UK matters , Pneurop to lobby on European legislation, BSI and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Crucially, BCAS is an independent source of advice and technical help to ensure that compressor equipment, its installation and maintenance is energy efficient, compliant and safe. BCAS is calling on compressed air users to save energy from their compressed air system with the 10% Taskforce.

Her area of expertise was overseeing accounting function; managing systems and procedures to ensure best practice in terms of financial control and compliance with relevant regulations such as SORP and pension; preparing annual statutory financial statements, budget and forecast; managing annual audit. Lutfur Haider BA (Hons) Assistant Accountant Lutfur joined Bird College in November 2022; as an Assistant Accountant with first class BA honours degree in Accounting and Finance. Lutfur was an Assistant Management Accountant in his previous role, progressing towards becoming an Accountant. Lutfur has been keen to advance in accounting and finance and has over 8 years experience with local community, retail and education. For many of my members that may mean training towards a specific event or to reveal those elusive abs. For the majority of my team it simply means getting a bit leaner, feeling fitter, stronger, having more energy and having the confidence to wear clothes that show off their bod as opposed to hiding it away. Why over 30's? As a dad in my 40's, a coach and former overweight guy....I get it!! The simple truth of the matter is that carefree days have been replaced by 24/7 responsibilities, marriage/relationships, a baby or two (or three), a mortgage and a boss who reminds you of all three.
