This special milestone reminds us of the power of unity and inclusion, and we’ll use it as a backdrop to create a collaborative artwork that blends personal stories, cultural heritage, and iconic symbols of Edinburgh. What to Expect: Reflect on your unique cultural background and express it through your own individual painting. Connect with others by sharing your personal stories and symbols of identity. See your piece become part of a larger collaborative artwork that celebrates diversity and unity. No prior art experience is needed—just bring your creativity and an open heart! Each participant will create their own piece of art, and together, we’ll assemble these works into a single, unified masterpiece. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to explore how diversity strengthens our communities while honoring the legacy of one of Edinburgh’s most beloved institutions. Together, we’ll create an artwork that reflects our individual journeys and celebrates how we all belong to the greater fabric of the local and global community. This class focuses on the areas of the body that are overworked and hold tension/ trauma. By using breathwork and meditation, we are able to become more mindful of the signals our body sends us and target that area with deep stretch holds and activating the cardiovascular system to release the tension of tight muscles. Welcome the spring equinox at our Ostara Egg Painting Workshop, led by artist and ritual practitioner Eugenia Rosa on Saturday 22 March from 4-6 PM at the Art & Spirituality Centre in Edinburgh. With roots in ancient fertility and growth traditions, egg painting is a way to celebrate new life and growth as the earth awakens. Eugenia will guide you through creating your own beautifully decorated eggs that symbolise abundance, creativity, and rebirth for the season ahead. Why paint eggs for Ostara?
