Paediatric first aid training: What will you learn? The course covers everything listed below. There will be practical demonstrations, role playing and several activities to keep things moving along. You’ll use the whole range of paediatric first equipment, and will try out your newly learned techniques on my adult, child and baby mannequins. I’m happy to tailor the content with additions. If you want me to focus on a specific area of paediatric first aid, that’s fine. An introduction course is a great way to learn about the amazing craft of blacksmithing, the course will teach you the basics of forging and making decorative work for your home and you will have something you have made to take home with you and enjoy.  On the course we will make a number of small items, including hooks, bottle openers, key rings, pendants, candle holders and others based on time available. P404 Air Sampling of Asbestos and MMMF and Requirements for a Certificate of Reoccupation Following Clearance of Asbestos is the industry standard qualification for those whose work involves air sampling and clearance testing, such as asbestos analysts. In addition to holding the qualification, they are required to undertake and provide evidence of annual refresher training. RP404 Refresher is a new course, specifically designed to meet this requirement. RP404 Refresher enables candidates to revise and update their knowledge on air sampling and clearance testing techniques, and to receive a certificate of course completion by passing a written examination, which covers both the theory and practice of air sampling and clearance testing.

A two day sewing workshop for intermediate dressmakers to create a pair of dungarees which has a couple of different style options. Full help is on hand to understand the pattern, cut out and assemble your dungarees. Bring your own machine or borrow one from Stitching Kitchen.

This course covers the basics of dog grooming. In addition to 5 days at our school, there are 2 written modules, grooming diaries and 1 assessment at the end of the 5 days. The 5 days on this course count as part of the 15 day Certificate or the 30 day Diploma if you wish to upgrade. This qualification is aimed to introduce students to dog grooming, and give you a taste of what being a dog groomer could be.
