The Site Safety Plus 1 day CITB health and safety awareness course provides a practical summary of safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employers duties are and what should be done if they think anyones safety and health is being put at risk. The aims and objectives of the CITB health and safety awareness course are to ensure that individual responsibilities are understood: why they are carrying out their identified duties what is expected of them to ensure that they contribute to the safety of the workplace To ensure that the end of the CITB health and safety in construction course delegates will be able to: understand the need to prevent accidents have an understanding of the law identify how their role fits into the control and management of the site understand the need for risk assessments and method statements appreciate the need to perform safely and to stop and ask for advice if not sure feel obliged to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident IMPORTANT INFORMATION Photographic I.D. is required for all delegates Written parental consent is required for all delegates under 18 years of age Failure to provide this on the first day of the course is likely to result in the delegate not being allowed to attend or complete the training.

Delegates successfully completing the e-learning will: Have an awareness of how to correctly identify and select the appropriate form of personal protection against falls from MEWPs. Have a theoretical awareness only of how to check, use, maintain and store a harness and lanyard with manufacturer’s instructions. Have a theoretical awareness of how harnesses and lanyards should be fitted and adjusted.

CPR is known to buy crucial extra minutes which can ultimately keep a victim in a state of potential successful resuscitation until paramedics arrive. This 3-hour course covers Basic Life Support skills and includes skills for adult, child and infant as well as healthcare variations on infant CPR. The course includes: safety, precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression only CPR, CPR handover and choking. This course complies with the latest ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond. Aims To provide the candidate with knowledge of the core skills that require emergency response first aid which also include the latest protocols from the UK resuscitation council guidelines and skills for health pertaining to Adult and Paediatric CPR & Basic life support ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins.
