I'm a paper artist and illustrator whose work combines traditional paper-cutting techniques, collage and digital art. I'm represented by Meiklejohn illustration agency and have worked with a range of clients including, BBC Four, Tatler, The Guardian and Gosh Arts. I have illustrated and authored a selection of books, including Papercut Woodland and Paper Plants published by Carlton Books. I love to share my craft, I teach workshops throughout the UK. Paper cutting is creative and therapeutic, focusing the mind and steadying the hand while bringing about a serene sense of achievement. It's a joy to see others find the same level of joy in the craft as I do.

Make Good Print Co. is a screenprinting studio based in South Devon specialising in water-based printing on fabric and paper. We provide an affordable print service, run workshops and provide open-access membership to the studio.  Graduates in Graphic Design and Fashion & Textiles respectively we have formal training and a long-running passion for our craft. We love working with our hands and keep a DIY spirit at the heart of what we do. If we’re not at the studio with squeegees in hand with a bit of luck we’ll be walking on Dartmoor, swimming in the Dart or surfing the south coast.

I am a surface designer and have been designing and cutting stencils for almost 30 years - first for printed textiles, then for architectural sandblasted glass and currently for papercuts. I love simple, bold and graphic imagery and am inspired by primitive art, Scandinavian textiles, my Welsh heritage and the beautiful Gower landscape where I live, all mixed up with a love of illustration and design. Although I gained recognition for my distinctive architectural glass, undertaking large scale commissions for public and private spaces and meeting the Queen with my work, it is the hands on, simple and traditional technique of paper cutting which I currently find most gratifying. With just a scalpel, paper and cutting mat I create contemporary and humorous images which are designed to make you smile. My products sell across the world and in addition to winning an award at the prestigious Made by Hand exhibition I have been featured in the press. Everything on this site is designed or made by me and I source my products as locally as I possibly can, and always within the UK. I exhibit widely in galleries in the UK and attend many artist events in person as well as running paper cutting workshops from my studio. The Arienas Collective is a creative workshop hub based in a beautiful, Georgian mews home in Edinburgh's historic New Town. The Collective was set up to help local artists and makers earn a living through sharing their creative skills and passions with others. Its name comes from Loch Arienas, a beautiful and remote spot in the Morvern area of the Scottish Highlands. We believe that engaging in creative activity is good for our health and wellbeing. Our workshops suit beginners, returners and those who want to challenge their own creative practice. Group sizes are kept small, so that our artists and makers can give you the help and support you need to get the most from your experience. Join us to release your inner creative and you will leave having learned new skills, made new friends, and with a finished piece we hope you will feel proud of. PHOENIX POTTERY AND ART STUDIO , An Artist owned studio. Located in Phoenix House, in Golborne, Cheshire. Our creative space in our purposefully designed studios in Golborne nr Warrington offers Pottery classes, Art/ Crafts Workshops and Mindfulness sessions ( Pottery and creativity for Health and well-being ) plus Alternative Ceramic Firing such as Raku and saggar firing. We also provide fully equipped studio space for supported sessions. This enables those with previous handbuilding experiece to work independently on their own projects with a technician/ teacher on hand for  technical / glazing advice / support.  Our studio can be hired for running your own ceramics / Art/  Craft Workshops. We can also arrange private individual/ group bookings.  The purposefully designed space is comfortable and welcoming and warm, with a nurturing and creative atmosphere.   With easy access from the M6, M62, M58 and M56 motorway networks. approx 20 miles from Manchester and Liverpool.  WE ARE DELIGHTED THAT PART OF OUR NEW PREMISES ARE FULLY ACCESSIBLE, OFFERING  EASY ACCESS AND DISABLED TOILET FACILITIES.
