Timestep Academy of Dance & Performing Arts in Portsmouth was founded in 1997 by Mrs Sarah Williams. It has grown in numbers since then due to the excellent reputation that has been achieved. Past pupils have gone on to train at Ballet schools such as Elmhurst and Tring, and others have furthered their training at London Colleges such as Birds, Performers College and Urdang. At Timestep we offer many kinds of dance training in Portsmouth that some other schools can’t offer…. Extra ballet coaching Optional classes working at higher level grades Pointe work class Contemporary dance One-to-one classes Annual, professional shows Most children join to have fun dancing and learning the steps and routines. They get to meet new friends and will have opportunities to pass their grades and perform on the stage. Each class has an emphasis on having fun for everyone, but teachers will still concentrate on training pupils to a high standard. For those who want to take their dance training a little further, we can also offer private tuition and entry into competitions and other events.

I set up an independent heating design consultancy in 2014 after designing & installing plant rooms & systems for most of my career ( www.robberridge.co.uk ) and am now fully engaged with this and my heat calculation software company with two other directors. After coming off the tools for some six years now and designing many plant rooms and systems for my new clients, I bring a unique perspective that bridges the often large gap between installation engineers and architects/building services engineers. Offering fully scaled CAD drawings, specifications and tender documents that all parties fully understand has kept me really busy and my life, 'interesting'.
