Details 
Using pre-recorded training, interactive on-line content (through Padlet), self-directed learning and live events, this substantial and comprehensive blended training course keeps delegates interested, engaged and learning new ways to bring excellence to their 24-hour postural care provision and focuses on the often neglected lying position and how unsupported lying drives changes to a person's body shape which impacts sitting, standing and functional movement. 
You will have access to the online learning from 29th January 2025 and be provided with all the information you will need to complete the course. At 1pm (GMT) on 29th January you will then join the trainers for an introductory event via Zoom to provide an outline of the training and to answer any questions you may have. Over the next few weeks you can access the pre-recorded training videos and interactive online content to enable you to complete the workbook. On 12th March 2025 there will be a series of live discussion events for the specific ages the course covers to assess your learning (you must attend at least one of these events - please see below for further information). 
Why? 
People with complex needs, deserve a thorough, co-ordinated 24-hour postural care service. We only get one body and yet people with complex disabilities don't always get the 'annual service' afforded the equipment they use.
Posture Positive report (2020) found training is a key aspect to developing resilient and robust 24-hour postural care for people with complex needs. Every person with complex needs or limited movement requires a comprehensive 24-hour postural care service delivered in a personalised way.

The course is suitable for specialist physiotherapists, specialist occupational therapists and other highly trained healthcare professionals working in health, SEN and social care. 
The course breaks down the life span of a person as follows:

Each delegate selects the aspects of the course relevant to their particular area of practice whilst having access to all the course resources.

On completion of the course, it is hoped delegates will be equipped with the knowledge needed to deliver an outstanding, person-centred, 24-hour postural care service.

You can focus on one specific age group or take a general approach allowing you to adapt the course to meet your own learning objectives. 
On 12th March the final live review events with the trainers via Zoom are available for the specific ages that the course covers. You must attend at least one of these live discussion (the one most relevant to your practice) but you are welcome to join all four. Please note the timings are GMT.

About this course
This course gives every learner like you really good foundational stones of what is required to become a professional medium or psychic.  You’ll gain new skills, upgrading your ability, and possibly turning it into a new career should you choose to do so.  

By completing this course, you will gain vital information and knowledge giving you the confidence to start conducting short, accurate, evidential mediumship in-person and on-zoom readings, connecting you to people all around the world.

The Mechanics of Mediumship helps learners like you become a more impactful, professional medium who holds up the banner for spiritual integrity. A medium who works in the light, with compassion and respect for the sitter, the spirit communicator and ultimately those spirit side of life.

I will teach you how to deliver industry ‘best practices’ in both your psychic and in your mediumship work, as well as giving you resources to aid in your spiritual learning and development.  I'll also share guidance so you too can deliver those amazing, accurate, impactful, evidential readings. That will offer hope, love, courage and healing to those you seek you out. And for some you’ll provide the much-needed closure needed in their grief journey, as you provide evidence that life does really continue past this physical death.
