I am a glass artist who's been designing and creating bespoke contemporary stained glass commissions since 1998. I love to create glass pieces that are pulled in from the things around me that inspire me in life. I would love to help you create your own glass piece of your choice to take home with you at the end of our workshop together. LOOKING FOR: PICTURE BOOKS, MG, YA Clare Wallace joined the Darley Anderson Agency in January 2011 and is building both the Darley Anderson Children’s Agency and the Darley Anderson Illustration Agency lists. As chief talent-spotter, Clare loves to discover memorable new characters, bold and unique voices, strong concepts and gripping storytelling. She represents picture books, middle-grade, teenage and YA. Clare is particularly looking for funny chapter books for younger readers at the moment, as well as contemporary MG, YA fantasy, romance, and rom coms, especially with underrepresented protagonists. Whatever the age range, Clare loves a big hook, a lot of heart, and a standout voice. For picture books she has the widest taste, from daft to lyrical, rhyming to prose. If your submission doesn’t fit a description here, it doesn’t mean Clare doesn’t want to receive it. She often doesn’t know what she’s looking for until she finds it (although she is not the person for steampunk or space opera). Her list gives a good indication of her taste. The clients Clare represents include Perdita & Honor Cargill, Caroline Crowe, Tom Ellen, Martyn Ford, Stewart Foster, Olivia Hope, A M Howell, Polly Ho-Yen, Rachel Ip, Beth Reekles, J.P. Clare would like you to send a covering letter, a one page synopsis and the first three chapters (Max 5000 words) of your manuscript. For picture books, please submit a covering letter and up to three completed texts. Please send EITHER picture books OR another genre, not both in one submission. At the end of each session you will have a lovely quilled item to show family and friends or to display on your shelf! All materials and equipment needed will be supplied and are yours to keep. This course is helpful for those for whom English is not their native tongue as there is a lot of repetition of basic terms including numbers, colours and directions.

Bring your own project to work on in the company of other crafters.  Whether you are a knitter, a crocheter, love embroidery or just need to hem a pair of trousers this weekly craft club will make making a little less solitary.  There won't be any tuition from me as such but I'd hope we can all help each other.  There will be a small charge to cover teas and coffees and possibly cake!

Millie is thrilled to be building the children’s illustrated division at RCW and is actively looking for authors and illustrators of picture books, chapter books, young fiction, graphic novels and is particularly interested in children’s non-fiction presented in any guise. Millie loves working collaboratively with authors and illustrators whether it’s brainstorming a title, building a portfolio, trying out new genres and age groups or simply chatting ideas through. She relishes the opportunity to champion the work of illustrators and authors alike and is open to anything from 0-9 whether texts, illustrations or both. Among many other talents, Millie represents Swapna Haddow, Zehra Hicks, Sandra Dieckmann, Jobe Anderson, Marilyn Esther Chi, Emma Clarke, Jim Smith, Gabriella Szendrey, Helen and Thomas Docherty.
