Persona Development & Training

London

Persona has been providing personal and professional development programmes founded on the philosophy of the Person-Centred Approach for over 20 years, specialising in the design and delivery of professionally accredited, post graduate level training in Counselling and Psychotherapy. The central values of the Person-Centred approach are a major influence in the design, structure of the programmes we provide as well as how they are delivered and managed. Our trainers and facilitators are committed to fulfilling their roles in ways that embody a Person-Centred philosophy, principally a trust in each person’s ability to find a way to direct his/her own development, based on a belief in the actualising tendency; the tendency of the individual to grow and develop to their full potential. Persona also provides training at certificate level: a Certificate in Counselling Skills for individuals and bespoke programmes in Applied Counselling Skills for organisations. These programmes focus on the development of intra-personal and inter-personal skills applied to different organisational settings, such as education, healthcare, social work, social care or HR. The Persona Staff Team are all experienced counsellors, psychotherapists and trainers. As facilitators, the team are committed to facilitating the process of each programme by communicating acceptance, empathic understanding and congruence and through these core attitudes provide the learning environment and structure of the course. Our programme are also designed to be accessible for those who have busy work schedules.

Scotland

Bike for Good is a charity and social enterprise which started in July 2010 in a small stall in Glasgow’s Barras market. With a few donated bikes, a cobbled-together tool kit and a team of volunteers with a huge amount of passion and drive, Bike for Good (then known as Glasgow Bike Shed) was born! We now have three thriving Community Hubs in Glasgow and an amazing team of 42 staff members and 50 + volunteers who are changing thousands of lives through cycling. We have a West Hub, a South Hub and a hub on Civic Street which you can read more about here. You can learn more about the members of our amazing team. Many of our wonderful volunteers have shared their experiences of working with Bike for Good through our online case studies. Bike for Good provides access to low cost but good quality bikes whilst diverting tonnes of waste from landfill. These bikes are kindly donated by members of the public and are then refurbished and sold in our two Community Hubs. Find out more about how to donate your bike. On average, our team of mechanics refurbish over 1000 bikes per year, diverting tonnes of waste from landfill while also providing access to affordable bikes to the public. The Beauty Click Academy

the beauty click academy

Bromley

The Beauty Click was founded in April 2018 by Chantelle Bass. The idea came about as Chantelle has always been a working parent and understands how difficult it is to make time for beauty and hair treatments. She wanted to produce a website that has a platform for both the beauty and hair  specialists themselves and for the customers wanting to fit in appointments around their busy schedules. After being let down by her new child-minder for the umpteenth time, Chantelle bit the bullet gave up her sales career and put her all into launching this business. Chantelle’s life time friend Lauren came on board in June 2018, after understanding and sharing her vision she chose to also focus on building The Beauty Click brand. Lauren too is a parent and has dealt with the stresses of fitting things in around her parenting and work life. Chantelle’s career has mainly been within the sales and business development sector and Laurens within childcare, but both have also worked in the beauty industry and have a strong passion to be able to help those that want to learn new skills and move into the hair and beauty realm. After putting their full focus into the growth of The Beauty Click, working tirelessly to put into action the many ideas they’ve had and continue to envision, as well as being full time parents. It hasn’t been an easy journey so far but has been both exciting and inspiring, they are passionate and dedicated to the success of the company and are proud of the entrepreneurs they have become. A lot of the values of the business are to help parents get into flexible work by providing training and then to assist with a customer base, the Beauty Click has proved to be perfect for this. Also, to provide a solution for not just parents, but for everybody in this hectic world that we live in to keep up with regular self-care appointments or to allow for that cheeky pamper session. The Beauty Click is in a league of its own when it comes to Beauty on demand services. We do not set our prices, our members set their own. This means customers have a choice of the amount they are able or wanting to spend on treatments. We do not push out those that have a lower budget and we also have high end members that use exclusive products and have a higher price range. We pride ourselves in catering to the needs of all, including you!
