How CSIE can help your setting We can support the work of: schools, by providing speakers for assemblies, staff meetings and Continuing Professional Development days, as well as working with staff towards inclusive school development; universities, by delivering talks for undergraduate or postgraduate students, contributing to conferences (keynote address, panel discussion or other presentations), as well as working with staff towards the development of a more inclusive institution; local authorities, by facilitating Continuing Professional Development events, as well as working with staff towards the development of more inclusive education in the locality; central government in the UK and abroad, by working with relevant officers at national level towards the development of more inclusive education. The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations (Construction) -Compacting qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in Compacting within the construction industry. You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area. You will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification. This qualification supports the learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. The learner will learn key practical skills and knowledge in these mandatory units: -Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace -Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace The learner will also learn key practical skills and knowledge in one of the following optional units: -Preparing and operating soil compactors to compact materials in the workplace -Preparing and operating landfill compactors to compact materials in the workplace -Preparing and operating ride-on rollers to compact materials in the workplace Entry Requirements There are no formal entry requirements to take this qualification. This qualification can be undertaken without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area.

Focusing on you and your dog outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 dog training session, can be really useful for you and your dog. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a dog a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situation such good dog manners when guests come to our house. We can also develop a training plan to help address existing undesirable behaviours your experiencing such as your dog pulling on lead, your dog not performing recall, dog to dog reactivity, dog to person reactivity or even your dog chasing birds or squirrels.   1-2-1 dog training sessions are typically 1 hour or 1.5 hours long, depending on the issue, or number of things you want to look at in a single session. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your dog's particular issue. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 dog training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. 1.5 hours= £90, including follow up report. (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) Immerse Training is a fully regulated First Aid Training Provider. Who Should Attend This course is aimed at candidates that require the knowledge to enable them to comply with working at height regulations, and go in depth into industry dangers and respectability when working at height.  This course can be completed by both novice and experienced candidates. We also offer refresher tests. Novice course- 1/2 day Experienced worker tests- 1/2 day. Course information Category N404 Safe Working At Height It is envisaged that by the end of this course of training the learner will be able to answer questions on and perform the following: ➢ Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities when working at height ➢ Be able to define height work and identify the hazards of work above ground level and outline the general requirements necessary to control them ➢ Be able to identify accident causation in work at height ➢ Have an appreciation of planning and organisation of work at height ➢ Set up exclusion zone explaining actions required for emergency actions, identifying any overhead hazards ➢ Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for safe working at height use ➢ Demonstrate working at height and explain all safety issues that could arise Assessment Assessment will be to NPORS standards consisting of a theory test.

This manual handling course is for businesses who have workers who are exposed to the dangers of manual handling. This course will fulfil requirements set out by the HSE to train staff on how to correctly handle items whilst lifting, pushing and pulling.
