The Tech Leader Academy Ltd

Birmingham,

Welcome to The Tech Leader Network, world class coaching, consulting, mentoring and training for ambitious and motivated tech industry professionals creating Tech Leaders who build and inspire others. Whether your goal is personal development, career acceleration, or both, The Tech Leader Network is your catalyst for positive change. If you currently work within IT or the broader tech industry arena, then our cutting-edge programmes were developed specifically for you. Maybe you aspire to become a future leader? Or perhaps you are currently positioned as a leader, but have your sights set on further advancement? If so, then our unique results-driven development programmes has been designed with you in mind. Using tools, techniques and proven processes developed over 20 years, The Tech Leader Network will educate, motivate and inspire you to perform and succeed way beyond your own expectations. We live and breathe the IT industry! And we are passionate about successfully integrating IT people into the world of business. Whilst being able to fulfil a technical role to a high standard, those in the IT industry frequently struggle with human skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership. Most people are not born leaders. For the majority, becoming an outstanding leader requires learning and time. In addition to developing practical skills, leaders must also have great character. They need to develop an understanding of emotional intelligence and human behaviour. It’s this greater understanding that enables both established and emerging leaders to positively influence workplace culture, communication, facilitation, modelling and mentoring, to name a few. It’s these principles of development on which our unique strategy is based. One fundamental thing that we’ve learned is that people are generally capable of achieving far more than they imagine possible. We open the door to those possibilities and guide you to achieve and perform far beyond the expectations of yourself and others.

Sarah Savage Yoga

sarah savage yoga

I started practicing yoga in my early twenties with a vague but niggling sense of wanting to do something to soothe a stiff body and an anxious, overactive mind. I’d always done a lot of sport but considered myself inflexible. I’d never really had any kind of spiritual practice. I remember that first, strange and captivating savasana in the chilly scout’s hut - a door had opened. Yoga has been a portal to discovery ever since. As a teacher, my aim is to guide students in exploring all that their bodies know. I believe that through kind attention and the magic of motion we can start to feel into new areas, release unhelpful patterns and find a greater sense of joy, freedom and connection that ripples into all aspects of our lives. For me, this is the magic of yoga and why I am so passionate about my own practice and sharing it with others. I share embodied, heart-led practices of movement, breath and meditation. I offer a space for you to move without rules and without rushing, a space for self-expression and to feel what is waiting to be felt. Informing my teaching style is an interest in neuroplasticity, heart and body intelligence, functional movement, trauma and mindfulness teachings. You can take a look at some of my inspiration here. I love feeling hot sun on my skin, peanut butter and jam in my porridge, and spotting cute dogs in the park with my partner, Tommy. I completed my 250 hour Yoga Alliance Professionals teacher training with Stretch in 2019, with Carl Faure and Calli Popham. I am also a qualified pre- and post-natal yoga teacher having completed an intensive training with Stretch in 2021.

I was graduated from Yildiz Technical University, which is one of Turkey’s leading universities, Chemical Engineering Department in 2004. When I was studying at the university, I was tutoring lessons in chemistry, mathematics, physics and science. Later, I worked as a chemistry/science teacher in a private education tutoring school. I completed my master’s degree formation as a chemistry teacher which allowed me to work in all schools in Turkey as a Chemistry/Science Teacher. In addition, I started my master’s degree in chemical engineering. But, with the birth of my daughter, I quit my second master thesis. After working for 8 years as a chemistry/science teacher, I was promoted as the head of the chemistry and the department of science. Two years later, I was promoted to the Deputy Principal of the Secondary School. After working for 3 years as the Deputy Principal of the Secondary School, I worked for 2 years as the Principal of the Secondary and High School director. During my work, except for my business, I participated in many programmes to help and support young people. One of them is the Duke of Edinburgh International Youth Award. I worked as an award leader supervisor and coordinator. Another one is for gifted and talented students, I developed some activities in science and maths with my colleagues. During the period I worked, I realized the importance of personal development and participated in many training programs. After my training in mentoring and coaching, there was a huge change in my attitude on life. It is possible for each student to reach the maximum of his / her potential with proper directions. In this context, I am coaching and mentoring and try my best to guide the students and their parents to make the right choice for the right high school and the right university.

A warm welcome... I seek to offer therapy that integrates all of my skills and training, that is grounded in compassion, with a focus on embodiment and considers archetypal, spiritual and transpersonal dimensions of being. As an integrative psychotherapist I combine various skills and frameworks from my background in psychotherapy, breath and embodiment to help you on your healing journey. My understanding is that just talking about things doesn't ignite change. There is a strong focus of embodiment and breath in my sessions, I see these as a gateway to access the inner world and supplement the psychotherapeutic process to enable a deep, experiential processing and release. Having worked in mental health in both the NHS and private practise I see the need for a radical shift in the way society views and treats mental distress. I am fascinated by altered states of consciousness; how these are perceived and received by society, and how they can be harnessed for healing and expansion of consciousness of both the individual, and the collective, namely the patriarchal paradigm in which we find ourselves. When accessed safely and held within the container of therapy, I see the breath, meditative embodiment practises and psychedelic medicines as an opportunity to access these states, and connect us to own healing intelligence. I am currently working as a therapist and guide on the psilocybin clinical trials at Imperial University. I am living and working in Brighton and London, UK. You can find links to conferences I have spoken in and my services on the below websites: https://psychedelic.support/network/phoebe-sullivan-ma/ https://instituteofpsychedelictherapy.org/psychedelic-integration-database/ https://youtu.be/1jPUcu6vQhU https://www.counselling-directory.org.uk/counsellors/phoebe-sullivan https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/counselling/phoebe-sullivan-brighton-eng/874967 HCPC registered and YA certified My vision to awaken individuals to their own ability to heal has seen me train as a psychotherapist, breathwork facilitator and psychedelic guide & integration therapist. I have been personally practising yoga, pranayama and meditation for 10 years which while leading me deeper on my personal healing journey, has dramatically informed the way I work with clients. I have a warm and open nature and hold clients in a safe and compassionate environment so that they may deeply explore their journey to healing. I have a fascination with altered-states of consciousness, and how these can be harnessed for healing- this underpins all of the work I do. I hope my fusion of psychotherapeutic knowledge, study of psychedelic medicines, passion for breathwork and own humble experience as a spiritual practitioner allows my clients to feel my sincere and heartfelt mission to reconnect individuals to their own inner healing intelligence.
