Level Three, the final learning stage of our professional development courses, aims to bring you to the highest standard of advanced detailing skill through the spectrum of; rotary polisher techniques, wet sanding by machine and refinement, a full understanding of SMAT and DAT polishes and compounds and their role in efficiency and correction on different paint types, a wide selection of pads and equipment such as nano polishers and attachments. Mechanical training in wheel removal and jacking on multiple vehicle styles allowing deep cleaning access to vehicle arch and components, and specialist finishes on carbon fibre, GRP and gel coat are examined, demonstrated and explained. Existing valeters and detailers confident in their skillset's reflection of Level One's content may also qualify to bypass to this level, should they be able to demonstrate their qualification by purchasing, taking, and passing with sufficient breadth, our online Level One assessment. Machines introduced at this level include forced rotation dual action polishers, every inception of Dual action polishers, both in throw and size. We'll also look at pad types, heavy cutting options and defect identification to assess what can be rectified and how. Interiors are explored in greater depth with higher yield services with 'dry' steam cleaning, odour removal, leather protection and treatment, and stain removal with the associated chemistry. Small area sanding and isolated correction are a key finish to this level and allow you to achieve fantastic results from otherwise irreparable damage Following your introduction skills learnt in Level One, you will be progressing onto more skilful machine polishing and cleaning techniques. Machines introduced at this level include forced rotation dual action polishers, every inception of Dual action polishers, both in throw and size. We'll also look at pad types, heavy cutting options and defect identification to assess what can be rectified and how. The UKDA Advanced Machine Polishing (professional) Course is a day for those who would like to develop their technique further on all machine styles to produce the high-end, high-efficiency finish that is the marque of the most accomplished detailers. Taking cues from any existing experience, we will push the boundaries of your polishing abilities over the edge, running rotary DA and forced drives to their limit to give to the skills to drive up your efficiency and perfect paint like never before. Far from there being a consistent method - there are a number of subtle variations you can make to what would be termed a 'standard' technique which will speed up your process, enhance further your gloss extracting capabilities and make the right choice in machine based on paint types, conditions and ancillary equipment. On this day we will run through variables in speed and pad choices, show the differences ambient temperature and rebound can make to a job, explain the different approaches based on clear coat solids, look at how far you can push a painted surface, and much much more. The course is run over two full days (9.30 am - 4.30 pm) and picks up where both our introduction course and the Flexxpert Seminar leave off, so is also the perfect follow-up to those who have attended either course, in addition to those who want to learn all about machine polishing in every style. Ideal for those wanting to learn a specific machine polishing style, our Introduction to Machine Polishing for Professionals one-day course is a perfect starting point to get you using machine polishers in a safe, controlled environment. If you already use machines for correction work, it's an opportunity to reset your skills, pick up practical tips and advice, and increase your efficiency with either a different style or one you have used, but were never comfortable with. Sanding is a skill which can be used to perfect and rectify the harshest repairable damage and imperfect paintwork. Using a range of tools from electric and pneumatic sanders to specialist tools and compounds, you will work through the day to perfect a series of ever more challenging panels under the watchful eye of our instructors who are there to guide and demonstrate every step. wet sanding is a critically difficult skill which can bring high-yield finishes to a detailing portfolio and turn around the most challenging and rewarding of projects.
