A full day pottery experience in our studio in Golborne, nr Warrington, Cheshire. This pottery workshop is suitable for complete beginners. Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio offers adult and family pottery classes and art and crafts. Close to Warrington, Wigan and Surrounding Northwest area. Easy access from the motorway network . This course of 4 weekly sessions ( Tues 7pm -9.30pm ) is suitable for those who have attended Debs beginners glass fusing, or had some glass fusing experience elsewhere. These are small group sessions of only 6 participants, to enable you to have full input from Debs and to enable you to gain more experience in developing skills and creative ideas. Debs will encourage you each week to build on your experience and increase your confidence by helping you to complete small weekly projects. A fun and relaxed atmosphere in our peaceful studio. All materials plus, kiln firing and instruction is included. *Please note , this course is not in our fully accessible area of the studio. we do have other classes and workshops suitable for those needing fully accessible workspace .

Using imprinted details into the clay you will create your own serving board, perfect for charcuterie, cheese or your favourite nibbles. Along side a matching tapas bowl to add extra treats! This will be a lovely relaxed workshop, perfectly suited for beginner potters. Your tutor will guide you through step by step to create your beautiful pieces. There will be a choice of imprinting tools and materials to personalise your piece. Finally you will have a choice of four glaze colours the tutor will complete your work after the bisque firing. Pieces will be ready to collect 3/4 weeks after the workshop.

Various dates are not available for your full day Pottery Experience. Fill instruction and demonstration throughout the day will enable you to try a variety of handbuilding skills and chance to have a go on a pottery wheel. Bring a packed lunch and join us for a day of clay play fun. Refreshments are provided. Cost includes all materials plus kiln firing and glazing of your finished small project pieces.
