This practical and fun course enables participants to fully explore the essential camera and Photoshop skills you need to produce stunning digital photographs. Experienced tutor Kat Gollock helps you harness your creative potential in four engaging and empowering sessions. De-mystify the technical jargon and unlock your DSLR camera’s full potential. Learn Photoshop from a photographer’s perspective and the essential skills you need to really make your images shine. If you don’t have a digital SLR we can often provide one for you – please let us know at time of booking to confirm. You can also use your interchangeable or fixed lens system, mirrorless or rangefinder camera on this course. Bridge cameras without interchangeable lenses can be used too, but please note that they may not allow the full range of camera controls. Computer experience is beneficial. Week 1: Camera You will be guided through the manual settings of your Digital SLR camera, fully exploring how to capture light and time in a single image. Learn how to generate accurate exposures through aperture, shutter speed and ISO control and how/when to apply them creatively. We’ll explore some of the other digital settings that are key to understanding and building your confidence with your own camera. Week 2: Creating Put into practice all the camera features discussed and demonstrated in Week 1 on a walk around town. You will then return to the gallery for discussion and troubleshooting session to help further iron out any kinks. Week 3: Composition Will introduce you to photographic composition, history and appreciation and will be accompanied by more time to shoot so as to put these new skills into practice Week 4: Critique This week the full digital workflow will be explored with focus on image selection and post production techniques. Puppy training classes and dog training classes are suitable for general dog training and relationship building. Classes are run in line with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Traioners) code of ethics, and training techniques are based upon positive reinforcement, using dog treats or dog toys and play as rewards for completing the actions we ask the puppy or dog to complete.    Classes will be limited to 6 people, to ensure I can circulate and provide individual feedback relevant to your puppy or dog training. We will teach foundation behaviours, with the benefit of being in a dog training class environment, which relies on your dog working around the distraction of other dogs. Classes will also teach you to effectively communicate with your dog and give you the skills to practice outside of classes and implement the training in your every day life, in a rage of environments. VR Safety Day - This is for large organisations who would like to increase safety and environmental awareness engagement We will bring instructors and equipment utilising the following 3 VR applications: The VR Fire Trainer - by Vobling CPR in VR - by 4 Help VR Waste segregation by 4 Help VR Our approved instructors plan the day to suit your site with upto 3 VR stations and a top gear styled board and prizes for the winner, you are going to wow your staff and increase safety knowledge and training retention. This training can be done during morning's or afternoon's, lunch times or throughout the day. We will be using the VR Fire Trainer to help your staff to identify which extinguisher is the correct one, and extinguish a fire safely all whilst holding a real 6 KG Extinguisher. We will take them through a series of scenarios and ensure the learner leaves us knowing when it is safe or not to use an extinguisher We will then be saving someone using CPR in a city, all whilst having instruction from paramedicus a digital paramedic talking you through how to deliver CPR correctly and giving you real time feedback. Lastly, we will enrol your staff in our aste sorting game in VR, which will leave your learner thinking about correct waste segregation. You are against the clock for 2 mins to see who can score the best throughout your day.
