In a Yin Yoga class, poses are held for longer periods, allowing you to fully relax into the postures and experience a deep sense of stillness. Suitable for all levels, this class offers a meditative environment to reconnect with your body and breath, while gently increasing your range of motion. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, Yin Yoga provides the space to slow down, reflect, and restore balance in both body and mind. I have been actively engaged in self healing, therapies , yoga and related researches for the past ten years, to become an holistic therapist and yoga teacher.  Today my goal is to support others in their journey, through the help of different techniques according to their needs, while adapting my knowledge to suit and what I feel is the best for my clients. I discovered yoga in 2013 and practiced intensely with an amazing teacher from India in Kerala. I realised at that moment that yoga could offer a real balance to the mind, body and soul.  The pain in my body was gone, I felt emotionally balanced and happy.  I then decided to go to India to pass my 200Hours in the beautiful mountain of Himalaya. I lived six months in the yoga school assisting my teacher during classes and deepening my knowledge. Two years later, I travelled back to India in Rishikesh and studied my 300Hours teacher training while gaining considerable knowledge of Pranayamas and Kriyas. The knowledge I share today comes from India, the root of Yoga. Every class I teach, people will reconnect with themselves more and more, leading to the rebalance of their inner space, mind, body and soul. Yoga it is also a state of mind, along with the practice of pranayama & meditation it can become a way of living. This is what I can offer to every class & student for the betterment of themselves. My classes receive high praise as people find themselves connecting to their body and their breath. I offer an opportunity to really discover yoga and its benefits in day-to-day life. People tend to feel taller, more present, happier, more relaxed, more confident; the benefits are endless. My adventure with massage started when, just out of curiosity, I took an Introduction to Massage Course in the School of Holistic Therapy, in Edinburgh at the end of 2015. To my big surprise, at the end of the course the principal tutor asked me if I’d like to take a Diploma course in Holistic Therapeutic Massage, since she liked the way I worked. I was able to start straight away, and what a great 10 months they were. I loved it, always looking forward till the next course weekend. I learned a lot of massage pain-relieving techniques (including myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques and stretching) as well as lots of anatomy, physiology and pathology. I also learnt a great deal about myself and the importance of listening and recognising not only physical but also emotional state of people we work with. If I had never got to work doing massage I would always be grateful for the opportunity to do this course. My only regret is that I didn’t do it earlier. It would have helped me a lot in difficult times which preceded my massage adventure. That was only the beginning. After taking my final exams, Simonetta, the principal tutor, offered me a job of a Teaching Assistant in her school and I’ve been working for her ever since. The more I learnt, the more I realised how much more there is to know. Hence my next step was Advanced Myofascial Release – in the same school. I find working with fascia (a connective tissue) really enjoyable. This kind of work is incredibly effective, not only on a physical but also an emotional level, and it’s definitely the kind of work I want to specialise in.
