We offer a confidential and supportive environment with our team of experienced consultants and specially trained dogs. Typically these can be one-to-one emotional regulation or talking therapy sessions in a range of areas such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, coping with change, trauma, self-regulation and bereavement. New Ashgate Gallery, a non-profit making trust, cultivates the pursuit of excellence in a marketplace environment, with support to emerging artists, by exhibiting work and through professional development. We promote the creative process for all communities through workshops, talks and outreach work. We provide an unparalleled resource in Farnham, Surrey and beyond. History In doing all this we have a direct line of continuity with our beginnings. Elizabeth Naydler, who founded the Gallery in 1959, had aspirations to bring quality art to Farnham, with the first provincial exhibitions of nationally and internationally known sculptors and artists such as Henry Moore, Anthony Caro, Elizabeth Frink, Barbara Hepworth, Picasso, Sandra Blow, Mary Fedden, Peter Blake, whilst at the same nurturing local talent and helping the careers of the next generation of artists and crafts people through exhibitions, sale of work and prizes and scholarships. The Gallery moved into Waggon Yard in 1966 - in 2016 the Trust celebrated its 50th anniversary in the 17th century Grade II building in in the centre of the Farnham Craft Town. During the years, the gallery has administered the profits from craft and art sales to create prizes and scholarships, and for the purchase of artworks for local and national museums. It was one of the first provincial galleries to show artists with an international reputation as well as supporting local talent.

ewbury Speakers provides a safe, supportive and positive learning experience in which members learn to develop their communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Members learn and practice in a friendly, non-threatening environment. They learn and practice alongside other people who are there for the same reason. They are taught by people, who just like them, were hesitant about public speaking but have now successfully developed their public speaking skills. Together everyone grows and develops their confidence and communication skills. And, best of all, they usually have fun as they learn. As a non-profit organisation Newbury Speakers is run by volunteers that give their time to help run the club. Community Outreach Newbury Speakers has been part of the Newbury Community for over 35 years. The club has staged numerous events such as free workshops and a Speakers Corner in the Market Place. Members have given speeches at local networking clubs and facilitated Speechcraft courses for corporations in the area. Speechcraft is a program designed to help develop public speaking skills and confidence in front of an audience. These skills are learnt over six two-hour sessions, one session per week. During each session participants learn and practice speaking and communication skills, and have the opportunity to learn and receive feedback from experienced speakers. The skills learnt by the participants, are not only relevant to public speaking but to all situations where verbal communication is required.
