Whether you want to join a team, coach a team or officiate a sport we’ve got something for everyone. The range of sessions and leagues at our centres means we have something for you. For the beginner and those getting back into sport, you can join come ‘n’ try sessions. For those ready to play straight away we have two options; individual players can join new or existing teams, or, new teams can be entered into our leagues within 2 or 3 weeks. With our extensive network of community clubs there are opportunities to volunteer and coach in sport. Want to take control of the court and referee or umpire? Sign up now if you are a qualified official or attend one of our sports governing body led courses. CHILD WELFARE SFAC provides safe environments for children to be a part of regular sports participation. The Bute Group (Bute) is a group of experienced facilitators and coaches who specialise in consulting, designing and delivering exceptional management and leadership learning and development group and 1:1 coaching programmes. At Bute the team’s vision was to deliver outstanding training and development programmes following contemporary theories and concepts and to inject some fun whilst carrying this out. Today the vision remains the same, however, the name has changed and now the team focuses exclusively on developing managers and leaders. In 2014, the team designed the 3:2 Management and Leadership Model, a framework formed around five components; three of the components represent the individual’s requirements, developing attitudes, changing behaviours and boosting skillsets, while the remaining two consider the business requirements of meeting goals and achieving high-performance outcomes. The 3:2 Management and Leadership Model is core to our development offering. Our facilitators and coaches have many years’ worth of experience in operational management and leadership roles. They are passionate about their own development too with professional qualifications including: coaching accreditations, management accreditations, ITIL, Prince 2, Psychometric Assessments, A1 Assessments, and various degrees. We create strong partnerships with our clients working alongside them to help them achieve their goals.
