Natasha from Butterfly Minds will guide you through a relaxing sequence of postures, close to or on the ground, to help you release any physical tension while becoming more present and connected to yourself. In a Yin Yoga class, poses are held for longer periods, allowing you to fully relax into the postures and experience a deep sense of stillness. Suitable for all levels, this class offers a meditative environment to reconnect with your body and breath, while gently increasing your range of motion. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, Yin Yoga provides the space to slow down, reflect, and restore balance in both body and mind. The Circle of life: a reflective vision board-what do you want to leave behind? Join us for a 2-hour interactive workshop where we’ll reflect on what we want to leave behind at the end of our lives. Through creative activities, we’ll explore what matters most to us, and how we want to be remembered. Imagine revisiting your life’s journey from the perspective of the end; what do you want to see when you look back at what you’ve left behind? Using vision boards, symbols, and words, we’ll explore death, legacy, and life’s meaning in a supportive, healing environment. This workshop provides a space for minority ethnic women to reflect openly, share their experiences, and grow personally in a safe and empowering setting. This class focuses on the areas of the body that are overworked and hold tension/ trauma. By using breathwork and meditation, we are able to become more mindful of the signals our body sends us and target that area with deep stretch holds and activating the cardiovascular system to release the tension of tight muscles.
