If you have a little or no experience, this workshop offers a practical syllabus setting a strong and broad base for you to build on. Covering a variety of screen scripts, you will be taught etiquette on the set, how warm up your body and voice, and how to bring scripts to life on screen. This workshop offers a friendly, fun and supportive environment. Meet Your Tutor Nathan Caselton Director Nathan Caselton is a Director and Assistant Director based at the prestigious Pinewood Studios. With a wealth of experience in both drama and commercial production, Nathan is well-versed in working with actors at various stages of their careers, from established professionals to beginners. His expertise lies in providing clear guidance and instilling confidence in actors, helping them build organic performances that shine on screen. Course Outline You will shoot a scene with an experienced Director who will share knowledge on shot sizes, continuity and eye lines, before providing an insight in to the audition process and the business of being a screen actor. This is ideal if you are looking to take your first step into acting on camera and experience your first workshop with Actors Studio. Paint Some Pottery With Your Friends! These adult-only painting sessions run every month 6.30-9. 30pm. Pay for your chosen seat/table inc studio fee, welcome drink, half a large pizza, salad and coleslaw, dessert, coffee & mints. Select an item of pottery to paint on the night (sold seperately) and enjoy your evening. Our studio team will be on hand to offer advice, tips and suggestions on techniques that may help you where you want it. These evenings are relaxed and friendly and the ideal opportunity to have some fun in a creative atmosphere! 😁 Please note once painted your pottery will be glazed & fired and ready for collection 7-10 days later. You are welcome to BYOB on the night (glasses and ice provided at no extra charge). If you have a big appetite & would like a full Pizza please add this on at checkout. Join Harriet Shepard Art at Harbour View Studio in the heart of Compton Acres gardens to make your own coasters using fluid art techniques. A wellness space is created with relaxing scents and sounds for an immersive experience where you can escape from it all in a world of colour and creativity.  Children 10 and over who have an interest in art, may come along if accompanied by an arty adult.  You will explore two techniques to create 8 coasters, 4 in each style. 1 from the 8 will be selected to be made into printed hardback coasters 3 sets of 4 in a box. 3 Christmas gifts sorted!  All skill levels are welcome. The workshop will include: A relaxing welcome and introduction to techniques Preparing to create on tiles Colour combinations Mixology of paints for the 2 techniques CREATION Selection of Coaster for print You will have the option to have the 8 originals presented in a frame as a piece of art at an additional cost. These can not be used as coasters unless they are heat proof resin coated, this is something we are unable to offer in this studio space but can be discussed with Harriet.  Fluid art can be a messy business! Please wear suitable cloths or bring aprons / overalls - Its often your feet that get caught out . . . gloves will be provided (latex free).  You are welcome to bring your own paints, however I recommend only Amsterdam or Pebeo brands for this style of art.  The studio can be chilly, so layers are recommended! 

Learn how to create your own one of a kind beach themed picture frame! In the class you will learn the basics of how to work with resin, how to add glass, how to add your sea glass stones, and how to let it dry. This is a fun project for adults. A great beginner friendly class for anyone who is interested in learning how to work with resin. This glass resin picture frame would make a great gift or a fun decoration for your room.
