This 1 day paediatric first aid course with child CPR training is perfect if you wish to provide first aid in early years settings, such as nurseries, after-school clubs, creches and childminding. We cover everything you need to know so you can gain the paediatric first aid certificate. This basic 1 day course covers all the necessary basics in infant and baby CPR. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

This course of 4 weekly sessions ( Tues 7pm -9.30pm ) is suitable for those who have attended Debs beginners glass fusing, or had some glass fusing experience elsewhere. These are small group sessions of only 6 participants, to enable you to have full input from Debs and to enable you to gain more experience in developing skills and creative ideas. Debs will encourage you each week to build on your experience and increase your confidence by helping you to complete small weekly projects. A fun and relaxed atmosphere in our peaceful studio. All materials plus, kiln firing and instruction is included. *Please note , this course is not in our fully accessible area of the studio. we do have other classes and workshops suitable for those needing fully accessible workspace .

Learners must be at least 17 years old on the first day of training. Learners must hold a valid in date FREC3 certificate. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified. This 6 hour medical gases course is for workplaces and individuals who have access to and are expected to use medical gases. This course includes Oxygen & Entonox and its role in resuscitation and emergency therapy. The entry requirements for this course are you must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of training, and hold a Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification (or recognised equivalent).
