Our workshop packages are perfect for groups looking for an alternative activity to take part in as part of a corporate event, team building exercise, stag or hen do, birthday party, Christmas party or any other occasion you’d like to embellish with a unique creative spin.  Below is a list of ‘off the shelf’ workshops and packages we currently offer however each of these can be customised to suit your needs. So if you like the look of tie due but also want to give t-shirt printing a go drop us an email and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Similarly if you’d like any of these experiences to come to you please get in touch as a selection of our equipment is portable. Booking a workshop as a group would give you a discount price as well. If you are more than 5 people, you can get it from 50£ per person (regular price 75£) for our usual 6h workshop. The Edinburgh Sewcial Club opened its doors in 2014 teaching dressmaking, sewing and other textiles crafts to people of all ages, levels of ability and experience in evening and weekend classes. Due to the success of the business in January 2017 The Edinburgh Sewcial Club expanded into a new larger studio to accommodate more students after all its not just about learning new skills its also about meeting other creative folks and being ‘sewcial’! However class sizes still remain no more than 6 people for dressmaking and Introduction to sewing, allowing each person ample 1 to 1 tutor time. The Edinburgh Sewcial club is open to everyone and has been teaching dressmaking to people as young as 9 and beginners at 7 years old! Everything is taught at a gentle pace so that you can learn at your own level. As well as dressmaking and sewing there are also a number of other textile crafts taught, beading, embroidery, up cycling & mending even fleece mermaid tail blankets! Its a fun and friendly environment! Please take a look at the gallery section to see a wide variety of clothes and soft furnishings which have been made during the classes and a lot of the beginners had never sewn before!

The Fraser Centre Community Trust is a registered Scottish charity: SCO43597. The Trust was formed in 2011 by Jonny Russell, supported by his family and friends, with the aim of refurbishing the old Winton Picture House. The picture house, the ‘cuds’, opened in 1922 and remained open until the early 1970’s when it closed its doors. It was used by a variety of businesses after this but the building slowly fell into disrepair. In the 1990’s the building was purchased by Kingdom Outreach Ministries and a small section was refurbished for use by the church and became available for local groups to hire the building. It became clear however as the condition of the building deteriorated something had to be done and the Trust was formed to meet the challenge.

If there are any books left, we would love to welcome families into the Gym Hall at home time to choose a book to enjoy at home. Our goal is to provide every pupil with at least one free book! We have had a wonderful response to our request for book donations and have many interesting books to read, share and enjoy.

WLFA Soccer Schools are a weekly football activity programme, which provides quality physical activity and football training for children aged 5 to 15 years. Each session is designed to promote agility, coordination, movement and balance all while having fun. Our unique programme promotes a love of the beautiful game in a controlled environment where safety, learning and enjoyment are ever present. West Lothian Football Academy encourages children to learn and develop ball skills, balance, agility and communication skills which provide good physical activity. Our young players learn the fundamentals of football through our structured activities and fun based games which are designed to stimulate their imaginations and develop their skills Classes cost £24 per month. Your first session is a free trial and if you decide to join us you will set up a reoccurring monthly payment of £24 on the 1st of each month. Your payment plan covers 12 months of classes and takes into account Christmas holidays and two additional weeks for emergency cancelations. If you cannot attend your regular class one week you are welcome to attend another class on a different day as a catch up session, please just let us know via email which class you would like to attend.

Call John Pow on 07845591096 to enquire. About Us Most central golf course in Edinburgh Carrickvale is an Edinburgh Golf Club situated on the pleasant and easy-walking Carrick Knowe golf course. By tram (Balgreen stop) we are only ten minutes west of the city centre and fifteen minutes from Edinburgh Airport, and we welcome visiting players and groups. Green fees are very reasonable for pay-as-you-play golf, and for the regular player there are season tickets available giving access to all of the public courses in the city. Club Hire and buggy hire is also available from the starter, and all players are covered by personal liability insurance. Our active membership play in a full programme of golf throughout the year and enjoy a very comfortable clubhouse which is an ideal venue for our social events which consist of cabarets, comedy nights, Horse Race nights and dinners. The Clubhouse can be hired by members and the public for private functions – birthday parties, anniversaries, etc. At this time we cannot offer our own catering but outside catering is welcomed and we can recommend a choice of options.
