The QA Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care also known as FREC3 is a PHEM D qualification which is the entry level into being able to provide medical cover at events. The cost is £425 plus VAT per person (£510pp) This is a 5 day course being held at our training centre in Laindon, Essex (SS15 6SS), all days must be attended and sessions will be 9am-5pm each day. This Paediatric First Aid Training Course is a QA Level 3 Award and is recognised by Ofsted and includes the requirements of the appointed person in the workplace. This 2 Day Paediatric First Aid QA Level 3 award course is suitable for school staff, child minders, nursery assistants and staff who look after children as part of their working requirements. It will be of particular interest to Child Minders, Teachers, Crèche Assistants and staff who have a responsibility for children whilst in their care. The prevention of accidents is obviously preferable to giving first aid. Nothing can replace adequate supervision of a child in a friendly and relaxed environment. Now and again however, accidents and illness do happen and you may be called upon to give first aid to a child in your care. It is important therefore, to make a plan for how you would deal with such an emergency situation. The current EYFS statutory framework requires at least one person who has a current Paediatric First Aid certificate to be on the premises or outings at all times when children are present. Paediatric First Aid Training – This QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid Training (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide).
