For admission to Advanced Level programmes of study, students are usually expected to achieve a minimum of 6 GCSEs at grades 9-4 or equivalent (including 4s in English Language and Mathematics). Students also need to meet any individual subject entry criteria stipulated. If students have the grades to take specific subjects but have a grade 3 in English or Mathematics or both, resit classes will be available. Students can take a combination of A Level and other level 3 courses (e.g. BTEC) if they so wish.
