My name is Anna Townley. Leaving school after A-levels, I began a research career working for Unilever Research. We deliver hundreds of hands-on field trips and experiential workshops, engaging over 3000 participants every year. The flagship programme is the Dragon LNG Darwin Experience, which has been running since 2005 and has worked with over 50,000 individuals. Thanks to our core sponsorship from Dragon LNG, every school in Pembrokeshire has access to free field trips and workshops every year; on themes such as rocky shores, climate change, marine litter, forces, and renewable energy. We aimed to engage, enable and enthuse pupils in STEM and to see a statistically significant increase in attainment at Year 6 when compared to non case study schools.
