Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros to make your bouquet and gain lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again.

Join Harriet Shepard Art at Harbour View Studio in the heart of Compton Acres gardens to make your own coasters using fluid art techniques. A wellness space is created with relaxing scents and sounds for an immersive experience where you can escape from it all in a world of colour and creativity.  Children 10 and over who have an interest in art, may come along if accompanied by an arty adult.  You will explore two techniques to create 8 coasters, 4 in each style. 1 from the 8 will be selected to be made into printed hardback coasters 3 sets of 4 in a box. 3 Christmas gifts sorted!  All skill levels are welcome. The workshop will include: A relaxing welcome and introduction to techniques Preparing to create on tiles Colour combinations Mixology of paints for the 2 techniques CREATION Selection of Coaster for print You will have the option to have the 8 originals presented in a frame as a piece of art at an additional cost. These can not be used as coasters unless they are heat proof resin coated, this is something we are unable to offer in this studio space but can be discussed with Harriet.  Fluid art can be a messy business! Please wear suitable cloths or bring aprons / overalls - Its often your feet that get caught out . . . gloves will be provided (latex free).  You are welcome to bring your own paints, however I recommend only Amsterdam or Pebeo brands for this style of art.  The studio can be chilly, so layers are recommended!

I will show you how to size, design, make and fire your ring into a beautiful solid silver piece ready to wear home. You will make a patterned ring band and a ring with a stone setting. Our instructor, Louise, is fully qualified as a senior tutor and holds an Art Clay Higher Diploma and has been teaching jewellery making for over ten years.

What’s included in a 60 minute virtual Gift Wrapping Class You’ll learn the essentials of gift wrapping including as listed in the package you choose.   2. How much is a 60 minute 1-2-1 virtual class? Depending on the package you choose, prices start at £67. 3. How do I book a date for my class? Once payment is received, I will send you an email confirming your payment and a link to book your class 4. Are materials provided? No, materials are not provided. I will send you a list of what you need at least 2 weeks ahead of the class (or once the date is confirmed if less than 2 weeks until the class) 5. What is the difference between an in person & a virtual class? At a 60 minute virtual class you will get 1-2-1 tuition on the techniques which I cannot guarantee you’d get at a group in person class (although I always try to do my best). In person classes usually last a full day and include lunch/refreshments which is not included with a virtual class. 6. Can I change the date/time of my class? If you can no longer attend the class on the date/time you chose, you can change the date once at no futher cost. Please email me for your options. 7. Can I bring a friend? There are no exclusions to suitability 10. What kind of results can I expect if I join a class? That all depends on you and if you’re prepared to go away and practice/use the skills you have learned in the class.
