All artist at one time or another will feel the need for inspiration and motivation and what better way than immersing yourself in a painting break, Studio views overlooking the sea in Bournemouth. Inspiring scenery and our special breaks are a little different. You will receive help and guidance from Three professional artists over the course of the break. Covering different techniques and different subject matter. There will also be demonstrations to get those artist instincts tingling. This is a great way to rejuvenate and develop your art by immersing yourself in one of our much loved TRIO breaks. No Matter what creative stage you’re at in your artistic journey, there is something for every ability on offer.

Stunning Catalan style harvest basket, no experience necessary just a day of fun and creativity

A simple pattern drafting course for anyone wanting to draft patterns for themselves or others. Great for teachers of GCSE and A Level Fashion & Textiles for both Art & Design and D&T.

Make this unusual Ying Yang with an integrated rustic handle. During the course you will use several different natural coloured willows and apply different weaving techniques to make your basket completely individual. Enjoy a day of craft with refreshments provided. Please bring your own lunch.

Make this beautiful sunhat from English rush. Rush is soft on your hands to work with and has a multitude of different shades of green, brown and yellow making your hat very individual. During the day you will learn how the rush is grown, harvested and processed. No experience necessary, refreshments provided please bring your own lunch.

Including reindeer..add a red nose, Xmas trees...add a little tinsel snow to the top and a 10" rush angel for the top of your tree, plus stars, and mini wreath hoops. Festive snacks and a glass of mulled wine included. In this workshop you will be making a luxury Xmas wreath, start by making a large  round base from freshly harvested willow you can then build your wreath using a combination of different greenery, dried oranges, lime, grapefruit, apple, star anise, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, fir cones, juniper, holly, ivy and much more. Your wreath will smell and look fabulous. Festive snacks and a glass of mulled wine  included.
