Included will be how to use tile nippers, how to create shapes and an explanation of various andamento styles and how to grout. At Clay With Carole we offer group classes for all ages and abilities in hand building in clay. During this thorough and enjoyable 6-week evening course you will learn how to prepare your clay, and the main methods of hand building. You will be introduced to a variety of decorating techniques, ceramic materials and glazing. Each week you will make your original pieces using a different technique of hand building and through the duration of the course you can experiment with decorating techniques, application of ceramic materials, and a range of glazes.

I have combined my love of Africa and my passion for creating mosaics into a fun workshop where you will learn how to create a slim piece of art using African beads, colourful vibrant glass and slate chips. What to expect You will be shown how to prepare the base, mix your own adhesive and combine your materials using a range of techniques to create interest and texture. Who is this for? Suitable for beginners, however, those with some mosaic experience are also welcome to join.
