We offer a range of courses for First Aid, Environmental Causes and Scuba Diving.    Our First Aid Courses (Emergency First Response) follow the latest guidelines from ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation). Courses are delivered with presentations, videos, skill demonstrations (where applicable) followed by skill practice by the student (where applicable). Some course will have home study in them also. Our First aid and Oxygen Administrator courses are a delivered in a structured way, building a foundation and build on the knowledge learned from previous modules.    At the end of the course* the student will get a certification card from one of the leading diver training agencies with over 50 years of teaching experience behind it. Don't be put off though most of our courses are designed for non-Divers as well.  We don't just stop after qualification; we are an active resource for our students by offering a student login*. As long as you have taken a qualifying course within the last 2 years you gain access to the student login area and have access to documents and videos relevant to your qualification. The concept of Toast & Tea came when I was due to go back to work as a Deputy Headteacher full-time after having my second son. Finding enough space in breakfast and after-school clubs was proving difficult. There is a high population of working parents in the Winchester area; enough to create long waiting lists for wraparound care. I saw a real opportunity to alleviate the pressures for working parents by opening up a new breakfast and after-school club provision. Starting Toast & Tea meant I could continue to work in education, which I’d done for the last 15 years, and care for children away from the pressures of assessments and results faced by schools. My boys come to Toast & Tea too, so I have the bonus of having them at work with me a lot of the time!

This allows us to issue RYA certificates for all our courses which are internationally recognised. We are inspected at least once a year by an RYA inspector who rigorously checks our boats, procedures and instructors for a high standard. All our instructors hold the RYA Dinghy Instructors and First Aid certificates and have considerable experience on coastal waters.
