2025 Contemporary African Art Exhibition Join Us For Drinks Thursday, 10th April - 6pm to 9pm We are excited to announce that this April, London Lighthouse Gallery & Studio will be hosting our first 2025 Contemporary African Art exhibition, showcasing a diverse array of talented African artists. Just like last year, our team has been working round the clock to curate a collection that embodies the essence of contemporary African creativity. Prepare to be captivated by an eclectic mix of artworks, featuring both vibrant figurative pieces to thought-provoking expressionistic, and minimalist paintings. This exhibition offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of African artistic innovation.

IN-PERSON: SLIM WALL ART INSPIRED BY AFRICA

If you love African art and texture then this workshop is for you! I have combined my love of Africa and my passion for creating mosaics into a fun workshop where you will learn how to create a slim piece of art using African beads, colourful vibrant glass and slate chips. What to expect You will be shown how to prepare the base, mix your own adhesive and combine your materials using a range of techniques to create interest and texture. Who is this for? Suitable for beginners, however, those with some mosaic experience are also welcome to join. What is provided A mixture of beads, mosaic tiles and slate (please note materials will vary from example shown) Black tile adhesive Stick for stirring adhesive Wooden base (approx 10in x 3in) D-ring and screw Next class: Sunday, 20 October 2024 (10am til 3pm) Venue: Luton, Bedfordshire (location will be given at confirmation of booking)
