Take an old sweater and breathe some new life into it with free rein to delve into the stitching kitchen stash and box for christmas embellishments.
You could applique onto your jumper or stitch on beads, sequins and buttons to create a christmas jumper to make your colleagues friends and family jealous.

During this two and a half hour session Emma will show you how to give a tired old Christmas bauble a new lease of life. Emma will demonstrate how to hold your yarn and hook and how to do the stitches and change colour. She will then be on hand through out the workshop to help you create your Christmas Bauble.
Most people finish during the workshop or get several rounds done, the full instructions are provided and a YouTube tutorial so you can finish off or make more at home. 
You will receive yarn and a hook (worth £1.75) to take home, full tuition and refreshments.

Come and spend a relaxed couple of hours learning how to create a Dorset button. &nbsp;These historical and charming buttons originate from the East Dorset area where they were made from 1700 to 1860.We will be using plastic or metal rings to create a base and infill with the traditional cartwheel design. &nbsp;We have a wide variety of colours to choose from so you can make a button to suit your mood and style.All materials and full instruction from Hannah are included in the workshop together with a cuppa and slice of cake. &nbsp;

These rather festive buttons have been designed by Danielle - she is pushing the boundaries on the standard wheel style buttons to bring your festive trees and snowflakes (she can also show you her snowmen buttons)! These can be added to your festive outfit or hung on your Christmas tree.

Have you got a quilt top which needs finishing this is the workshop for you.  Janine will be helping you to sandwich your top, wadding and backing. 
Even if you don't have a quilt top ready you can come along and learn how to sandwich and bind as Janine will have lots of small scale samples for you to practice with. 
Once you have your quilting done she will get your binding prepared and help you get the binding cut, pressed and ready to sew on.
Janine has lots of hints and tips to get your binding sewn on with a professional finish.

You will learn how to blend fibres to create new shades of wool and to apply them to build the design and develop depth to your design.&nbsp; As it is Christmas we will blend in some sparkly fibres to add that little bit of winter magic. &nbsp; Hannah will be on hand to support you as you create your picture

During the session you will make a simple piece of lace which could be used as a bookmark. If you are returning you can choose to make something different, such as the snake, leaf or start working towards a flower.

How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

OR -

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. You have the option to add a classroom-based competency session, awarding a CPD Accredited Geopace Certificate of Competency, at time of booking.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your introductory course and one for your advanced course. Kits are included at no charge (normally £79.95 each) and are yours to keep and to continue to practice with after you have finished your courses. The equipment and supplies included in your kits are the same as those used if you choose the classroom option.

Our Route to Competency Masterclass - Live Blood Sessions can only be completed in a classroom environment. This is included when you book a classroom option. When booking the virtual classroom option you can choose to add this at time of booking. You will receive a voucher code to enable you to book onto any upcoming dates or locations. For most of our two day course we run our competency training at the end of the second day and therefore you should be able to complete your full training programme with us over two days.

In January 2024 alone, reports were published about the SRA taking enforcement action against 3 firms and 4 individuals for failure to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. The fines issued for these non-compliances total over &pound;570,000 plus costs. The absence of staff training, or requirement to complete additional training, was noted in a number of these cases.As a manager of a law firm, or more crucially an MLRO or MLCO, the ultimate responsibility for the firm&#39;s compliance, including with the MLR 2017, lies with you. This course meets and exceeds the Maryland requirement for the security officer course of 12 hours. The course is taught over 2 days, 6 hours per day for the day course or 3 days, 4 hours per day for the night course. In this course, you will learn the required curriculum for security officers prescribed by the Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commission. Once you purchase this course, it may not be canceled.  You can request another later scheduled date if a conflict arises.
