The VTCT Skills Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments is a course that has been specifically designed to develop your practical beauty therapy skills such as; face and body electrotherapy and body massage. To further enhance your practical skills you will have the opportunity to choose from the following practical units; providing massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils, electrical epilation, individual permanent lashes, intimate waxing, spray tan and how to apply self-tan products, and nail enhancements. Within this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication and you can also choose to learn about IT and data handling and contributing to the effective running of a beauty therapy business. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills as a beauty therapist to enable you to provide beauty therapy treatments.

Developing creative writing skills with a focus on imaginative writing, structuring, spelling, grammar and punctuation. The aim of the workshops is to help students to have written, or have made good progress on writing, their own 500 Word Short Story. We will be focussing on increasing range of vocabulary and language technique choices, along with introducing more advanced ideas about structuring stories; developing skills specifically pertinent to the Creative Writing tasks given in the English Language GCSE. Teacher: Harry Please note: This is a four week course with lessons on the 21st, 28th of July, 4th and 11th of August. All lessons are at 12pm UK/3pm UAE/7pm HK If you cannot attend a lesson for any reason, Lauren will record it and send you a link to watch the session via the Zoom cloud.

Who is this course for? This basic working with Asbestos safety training course is specifically designed for anyone who may be at risk from coming into contact with asbestos during the course of their work and which involves them using all necessary precautions and equipment to avoid working with asbestos containing materials [ACM]. IMPORTANT: This course does not train you to carry out any unlicensed, unlicensed notifiable work or licensed work on asbestos. You will need specific training for this. This course can also benefit the supervisor/manager responsible for those working in the construction and maintenance industry and looking for a basic understanding to better appreciate when to “stop the job” if suspected ACM’s are found. What are the objectives of the course? The aim of this course is to keep it simple and real, whilst all the key subject areas are covered of how to avoid working with asbestos.
