The “Delivering EVI in the Real World” module helps participants move from principles to action, building confidence in managing real-world challenges around electric vehicle infrastructure.
Open to all local authority officers working on EV infrastructure delivery.
50% discount is available to participants who have completed the EVI Training Course. Code will be issued directly to participants.
The new module will include approximately 10 hours of online learning, with additional preparatory activities to complete. The new module will then conclude with an in-person workshop.
The online learning and preparatory activities must be completed prior to attending the in-person workshop. To accommodate different schedules, we are offering two workshop dates. Please choose the one that best suits your availability and allows you enough time to complete the module.
Overcome real-world barriers to implementing EVI.
Navigate the evolving technical, regulatory, and social EV and EVI landscape.
Lead in uncertain and constrained environments.
Balance competing perspectives through the management of stakeholder relationships.
Lesson 1: Reflecting on the Real World – Understand the conditions you are working in, make informed decisions, avoid roadblocks, and maintain momentum despite uncertainty.
Lesson 2: Adapting to the Real World – Learn to adapt to the evolving EV industry and deliver effectively from a constrained or limited position.
Lesson 3: Engaging with the Real World – Build acceptance, manage pushback, and maintain momentum toward long-term goals.
Approx. 10 hours of online self-directed learning
Online content will be available from the end of October 2025.
Validated at an in-person workshop day, including collective action planning, group problem solving, role plays, and debates.

Online learning and preparatory activities must be completed before attending a workshop.

Cancellation Deadline: You can cancel your seat at no cost up until the course content is released. Estimated 17th November.
Seats can be deferred to the March in-person workshop. No further workshops will be offered.
Names can be changed if communicated before the officer has started their online learning.
