About Castle Douglas Community Information Technology Centre
The IT Centre is a charity based in Castle Douglas which helps people learn digital skills and provides refurbished devices across The Stewartry area of Dumfries and Galloway. Having no digital skills puts people at risk of being excluded from our digital society, and devices can be complicated and technology can be overwhelming. The IT Centre staff and volunteers support people to use computers and other digital devices through tailored, 1:1 coaching. For those on benefits and low incomes we offer our services for free and for those who can afford to pay we ask for a donation. Developing IT skills can help people remain independent, help them feel more included, help improve their life chances and wellbeing. The IT Centre also provides IT courses for specific groups in the community, or community organisations. Resolve. Be it hardware or software, we can diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix mobile phones, tablets, and laptop and desktop computers from any manufacturer. Simply Contact Us, and we can arrange a time that suits you.
