Wellbeing singing workshop - Learn simple breathing and vocal techniques to reduce stress and anxiety in the body, boost the immune system, and build connections for general wellbeing. Play with sound, rhythm and improvisation, learn close vocal harmony arrangements of different genres, and connect with yourself and others. Come and enjoy the incredible benefits singing in a group has on your wellbeing.
What to expect - In this free three-hour wellbeing singing workshop you'll learn to calm the nervous system using the breath, meditate using the voice, and sing three part harmonies in a group. We will be moving into two or three different spaces over the three hours to get as many different shots in different locations as possible. If the weather is good, we may also do some singing outside. The photographers may ask us to move around and repeat different parts of the workshop, but it shouldn't interrupt the general flow.
What to bring? - Just bring yourselves and a bottle of water. There are no facilities to make drinks at the venue, so make sure you bring any drinks and snacks you might need during the breaks.
No disabled Access - Unfortunately the rooms we are using are on the top floor, and have no disabled access. I will make sure to factor disabled access in for future workshops.
