Welcome to the Bournemouth Above And Beyond Trust (BAABT) website. The organisation was set up to support ex-military personnel and serving military with re-integration to civilian life by dealing with the issues they face when leaving the Armed Forces. BAABT also is a service provider for the Probation Service supporting any veterans or military personnel who have come in contact with the Criminal Justice System. BAABT is also a partner in the Pan-Dorset Armed Forces Covenant. The Charity’s objects are specifically restricted to the following: 1. To assist serving and former serving members of the armed forces of the Crown to resettle and rehabilitate into civilian life, in particular but not exclusively, by the provision of support services, advice, ​ guidance, tuition and healthcare where appropriate. 2. The prevention and relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the relief of sickness and preservation of health, the relief of those in need because of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, unemployment or other disadvantage.
