Blue Jelly Moon’s mission is to rescue beautiful china from being hidden away in lofts, cupboards, boxes and other hiding places and bringing them back to being admired with a modern twist. What started as a way to pass some time, has now become time I spend totally absorbed and at peace, I find I can just switch off my brain and let creativity flow. I have met some wonderful people at craft fairs and love seeing the surprise on their face, when they realise the pieces they are admiring, are made from previously loved, chipped or broken china. I still get a thrill from reading the wonderful feedback, from people who enjoy receiving their pieces through the post, whether it be for themselves or as a present for a friend or a loved one. After several requests for workshops I spent a great deal of time creating a fun and relaxed class so others may gain the benefits of such a wonderful craft, I now get to enjoy watching small groups of friends or sometimes complete strangers, get together and allow themselves to become absorbed and join me, as we help old, forgotten, but loved china come back to life.
