πŸ”„ Invoice & Xero Improvements

We’ve improved how invoice due dates are handled across Cademy and enhanced our Xero integration for more accurate syncing and easier access.

These updates give you greater control over invoice timing and help keep your accounting records aligned.

What’s new

πŸ“… Flexible invoice due date options

You can now choose how invoice due dates are calculated.

Options include:

  • Earlier of invoice date + days OR course start (default) – Due on standard terms or when the course begins, whichever comes first
  • Invoice date + days – Traditional payment terms (for example, Net 30)
  • Days before course start – Due a set number of days before the course begins
  • Days after course end – Due after the course has finished

This gives you flexibility to match your invoicing to your business model, whether you collect payment in advance or after delivery.

🧾 More accurate invoice data syncing

When invoices are synced to Xero, the data now reflects your Cademy records more closely.

  • Billing addresses are synced to Xero
  • Course timing information is included more accurately
  • Line items are streamlined for cleaner invoices
  • Default PO values can be set and synced automatically

πŸ”— Direct access to Xero invoices

Invoices synced to Xero now display the Xero logo with a direct link, allowing you to open them in Xero in one click.

πŸ” Easier to discover

The Xero integration is now visible to all educators in the Apps marketplace, making it easier to find and connect.

These improvements make invoice timing more flexible and reduce manual adjustments when working between Cademy and Xero.
