Meryem Doğan Şişman, who completed her undergraduate studies in biology teaching at METU Education Faculty and master's degree in science education at the same faculty, worked for 27 years at SEV American College, TEV İnanç Türkeş Private High School (TEVITÖL), Darüşşafaka High School and Antalya College. Meryem Doğan, who has been teaching "IB" classes in prestigious schools in Turkey for many years, has experience in high schools and universities abroad, application processes, "A Level", "GCSE" and "AP" programs. It continues within Avalon Education.
