This course is intended for participants who already have a sound understanding of the principles of the design and/or construction of wells and with more than 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Your expert course leader has been a Chief Technical Advisor and is currently a Senior Technology Fellow in the Drilling Division of Halliburton, working with Halliburton since 1998. He is presently a research and engineering lead for well engineering and broader area of cyber-physical systems, artificial engineering intelligence and sustainability. He is regarded as one of the world’s most influential contributors to advancement of research and practice in drilling engineering. He is the recipient of several awards including the Gulf Coast SPE Drilling Engineering Award, SPE International Drilling Engineering Award, SPE Distinguished Membership Award and the Distinguished Lecturer award and SPE Honorary award from the SPE. He has published more than 240 technical papers, holds 85 US patents and 150 worldwide patents.
