The opening sentence of the Kothari Commission said, "The destiny of India is now being shaped in her class-rooms." But if we give a close look to the practical situation, we observe a different scenario all together. But we can't let it go for a long time. As a result of the efforts made by a galaxy of lovers of education, prudent-dedicated-souls and philanthropists, the Al-Ameen Foundation came into being in 2001 to give a shape to the dreams of a long-felt necessity to impart value based quality education to the pupils of the far- flung neglected areas where the rays of education have not entered into due to lack of proper academic facilities.
