Learning through dialogue. Learning for dialogue.1st Century Learners is the business of Dr Neil Phillipson. After a career as a medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical industry Neil became a secondary school science teacher in 1999 and a Head of Science in Stoke-on-Trent in 2006. He worked as a local authority consultant in Stoke from 2009 – 2012, becoming more involved with primary education and teaching in Year 2 from 2012 – 2013 – he has some experience of teaching in all five key stages. Neil started 21st Century Learners in 2013.
