Blended Learning: Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

Description

The Level 3 First Aid at Work course provides comprehensive training for those designated as workplace first aiders and is suitable for schools, academies, businesses and organisations where a full first aid provision is required. This qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations and supports organisations in maintaining a safe, compliant working environment.

The course equips learners with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace injuries and medical emergencies, from life‑threatening incidents through to common illnesses and minor injuries. Training is delivered by experienced instructors and is highly practical, scenario‑based and relevant to real workplace settings.

Course content includes:

This qualification is Ofqual regulated and normally delivered over three days. To reduce time away from the workplace, the course will be completed through a blended learning model, where one day of theory is completed online in advance, followed by two days of face‑to‑face practical training. This flexible approach ensures all regulatory requirements are met while minimising disruption to operations. Fully face‑to‑face delivery remains available where preferred.

Successful learners achieve a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, valid for three years.
